A Synopsis of Samsung Omnia 7, Chat 350 and Samsung Tocco Lite Deals

Wednesday, August 31, 2011
The best part about Samsung Corporation is that it manages to attract all the segments of mobile phone users, from the budget section to the business segment. In fact, it is often said that no other mobile phone manufacturer has a better range than the Samsung series of mobile phones.

Be it the budget section based Tocco Lite phones, the mid segment Corby series and Chat 350 contracts or the super segment (high end models) featuring Galaxy, Wave and Omnia, Samsung has gelled well with the users’ expectations. The Galaxy series along with the Corby models may be the icing on the cake ( in the context of sales), but Omnia, Chat 350 and Tocco Lite managed to create quite a buzz, both prior and post announcements.

These 3 models have certain high points (also called as catch points) which have nevertheless worked in their favor.

Samsung Omnia 7 deals (technically called as Samsung I8700) offer an excellent processor of 1 GHz Scorpion series, Super AMOLED type capacitive 4 inch touch screen, push mail and a decent battery life. But on the flip side, the operating system has not been rated highly nor is the social networking interface.

Taking about the Samsung Tocco lite deals (known as Samsung S5233 as well), the catch points are its vibrant colors ( black, white and pink), excellent battery backup, decent camera quality along with a compact design and a budget price range. There aren’t many negative points for the Tocco Lite series, but the lack of 3 G facility and small screen size hurts at times.

Lastly, Samsung Chat 350 deals come as a bundle of happy surprises for users for whom social networking (chatting is an aspect) is the central point, but the absence of 3G, limited phone book entries, below average internal memory disappoint heavily. FM recording with Samsung Chat 350 is a nice add-on though.
